Listen Up Doc! is a women’s health advocacy initiative focused on empowering women to advocate for their health, speak up in medical settings and push for the care they deserve. Inspired by the personal journey of our founder, a Toxic Shock Syndrome survivor living with Endometriosis, the platform exists to address the widespread issue of women being dismissed, misdiagnosed or unheard in healthcare. Through storytelling and community-driven resources, Listen Up Doc! equips women with the tools, language and confidence to advocate for themselves - because every woman deserves to be heard the first time.
Kassidy Sell is an award winning journalist, television producer, storyteller and women's health advocate who knows exactly what it feels like to not be taken seriously by doctors. After surviving Toxic Shock Syndrome and navigating life with Endometriosis, she's spent years navigating delayed diagnoses, unanswered questions and medical appointments that felt more like battles than conversations.
Tired of feeling unheard, Kassidy decided to do something about it. That's how Listen Up Doc! was born. A platform focused on helping women speak up in medical settings, ask better questions and push for the care they deserve.
Her goal? Make sure women everywhere feel empowered to say, "I know by body and I'm not leaving until you know it too."
